Tankless Water Heaters

Tankless water heaters use less energy because they provide on demand hot water, as opposed to a traditional water heater that stores and heats water in a tank.  They also have a longer expected lifespan than a traditional water heater, 20 years vs. 10-12 years.  Tankless water heaters take up less space than traditional and require less maintenance.  The drawback to going tankless is the initial price, typically costing twice as much as the installation of a traditional water heater.
